Early Morning: Beat the Heat
The day starts before sunrise at 6:00 AM. While most of Orlando is still sleeping, I’m already checking my service schedule and loading up the truck with essential tools and HVAC components for the day ahead.
Morning Calls
By 7:30 AM, I’m at my first service call in Winter Park. Florida’s humidity is already making itself known, reminding me why our work at Ferran Services is so crucial for local homeowners. Today’s first job involves inspecting a residential AC system showing signs of strain – a common issue as temperatures climb.
Midday Rush
The afternoon brings me to Volusia County for an air conditioning installation. Working in Florida means understanding that a functioning AC isn’t just about comfort – it’s about safety, especially for our elderly residents and young families.
What We Typically Handle:
- Emergency AC repairs
- Preventative maintenance
- New system installations
- Air quality assessments
- Heating system checks (yes, even in Florida!)
Late Afternoon
The day usually winds down with final maintenance checks and paperwork. But in our industry, we’re always ready for emergency calls – because when Florida temperatures soar, AC problems can’t wait until tomorrow.
End of Day
Before heading home, I ensure my truck is restocked and ready for tomorrow. Working in HVAC in Central Florida means being prepared for anything, from quick repairs to full system installations.
Living and working in the Orlando area has taught me that reliable air conditioning isn’t a luxury – it’s essential to our community’s wellbeing. Every day brings new challenges and opportunities to help our neighbors stay comfortable in their homes and businesses.
